Our children’s clothing is designed for play, cuddles and everyday adventures. With proper care, you can help preserve each garment’s fit, color, and softness over time. Here are our best tips for extending the life of your children’s favorite pieces.
All of our ribbed garments and sweatshirts are made from organic cotton with a small percentage of elastane. This combination makes the garments exceptionally soft and gentle against your child’s skin.
Our ribbed garments are made from 98% organic cotton and 2% elastane, while our sweatshirts contain 96% organic cotton and 4% elastane. The elastane provides a subtle stretch for an optimal fit and helps the garment retain its shape wear after wear.
General Care Instructions for Ribbed and Sweatshirt Fabrics
• Wash inside out at 40°C with similar colors to reduce wear and fading.
• Avoid using fabric softener, as it can shorten the lifespan of the elastane fibers.
• Treat stains as soon as possible using gall soap or a mild stain remover. Avoid rubbing too vigorously, as this may damage the fabric’s soft texture.
• Lay flat to air dry to help maintain the garment’s shape. Tumble drying is not recommended.
• Although elastane helps the garment keep its shape, gentle reshaping after washing is recommended.
• Do not use bleach.
• Iron on low heat (maximum 150–200°C depending on the fabric).
• Shrinkage of up to approximately 6% may occur; this has already been taken into account in the garment’s fit.
